Le Petit Husson Charme Charente (16), Poitou-Charentes Description : Set in the heart of the beautiful Charentaise countryside this gite is one of 3 on site. Family run, friendly and comfortable. Well equipt and great for children, as well as being a great place to relax in the large garden or around the pool. The gite itself is very spatious and can easily accomadate a larger family, extended family or two families. Other gites also available if you wish to travel friends or relatives in separate accomadation. We have all the equipment for very small children, if you have any questions on what we can provide or about the site or accomadation please just ask. Thanks for taking the time to consider our gite.
Description of the property
Floor Area : m² 1 Lounge Area(s) Description Spatious Lounge with comfy large sofa (which converts into a full size double sofa bed to accomadate extra 2 guests)also comfy area for children with large beanbag and large cushions to relax and read or play or watch dvds. We have a TV and DVD player in the lounge and we have over 200 DVDs available (small charge). Dining Room The dining room has a table and chairs and a second sofa so that if the lounge is being used as a bedroomthere is still somewhere to sit. It leads on to the private garden area through the back door. Kitchen Modern style fitted kitchen. Has a fridge with freezer compartment large enough to fit quite a bit of food in. Cooker run on bottled gas. Several cupboards to store all your food and all the equipment that you could need including flask, plastic items for round the pool and wine cooler. It also has coffee machine, kettle, toaster and cafatiere. We include salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar to get you started alsong with your welcome basket containing a little something for tea and breakfast. 2 Bathroom(s) / Toilet(s) Description We have a main shower room which has a fantastic shower that you wont want to get out of, it also has toilet and sink. The other bathroom is ensuite to our triple room and contains a bath, sink unit and toilet. All towels are included in your rental price including pool towels. 2 Bedroom(s) Description Our double room has one double bed as standard but has plenty of room to add a cot, childs bed or full sized single bed. It also has wardrobe and drawers for storage. This room has french window that opens out onto a long balcony with table and chairs for you morning cup of tea or evening glass of wine. It has views over the beautiful countyside. Our triple room has one set of bunk beds and one single bed, it also has a wardrobe ith drawers for storage. This room has the ensuite bathroom.
Features of the property

Home Features CD player, We have over 200 DVDs that you can rent at a very small cost. Laundry room that you can use at no extra charge. We run kids club in 2 hour seesions that your children can join in to do games, arts and crafts etc, for a small charge per child per session. We have a Friday night BBQ that you are invited to for a small charge, all food and drinks included with a treasure hunt for the children and a bonfire in the winter months. We can also arrange for you to try some of the local Pineau and Cognac without having to leave the site. Garden features Playground with 2 climbing frames, large sandpit, swings, slides and lots of toys and balls. badmington court with rackets and shuttle cocks. Boules pit with boules set in each gite and crochet set to try your hand at. Swing ball orchard fruits inc. apples, pears, plums, figs, walnuts and mirabels. Also plenty of places to sit and relax in the sun or the shade. We also have snacks, drinks and ice-creams available by the pool for your convienience. We have lots of toys and inflatables in the pool for you to use. We also have bikes available for you to hire for a small price and a toddlers trailor and bike seat also available to hire. Activities nearby There are lots of places to go in the area, animal parks, water parks, Futuroscope, Aquariums, Zoos aswell as lots of places on the river for walks, playgrounds and resturants. We can give you directions and details of most of the places around and recommend some great restaurants. Transportation How to get there ? Ruffec has a railway station, pickups can be arranged. Poitiers, Angouleme, Limoges, Bordeux and La Rochelle all have airports, Potiers and Angouleme are the nearest and all have car hire available. Nearest ferry ports are St.Malo, Caen and La Havre are all between 5-6 1/2 hours away. With an easy drive down to us mainly on the N10 route.

About the Location We are located as part of a small hamlet of Husson, within walking distance of the villages of Charme and Tusson and just a short drive to the tons of Ruffec and Aigre. The city of Angouleme is 35 mins drive, Poitiers is 50 mins drive and La Rochelle with its harbour and is well known aquarium and Royan with its beautiful beaches and world renowned Zoo are just 2 hours drive away.
