About the Location Gite 'Chateau Vue' is located in the picturesque medieval town of Josselin alongside the canal overlooking the beautiful fairytale chateau (open to the public). A great place for the budding photographer and artist. From the town there is direct access to all the various tourist attractions in and around this beautiful part of Brittany. The coastline with its many islands is just 35 mins drive. There is plenty for the tourist to see and do in the area or alternatively, just relax, unwind and enjoy the gite and outside living area provided. Watch the meandering pleasure cruisers passing by and give a wave to the friendly breton people going about their daily business.
Notes for guests Rentals are weekly and during the season run Saturday to Saturday. Out of season arrival/departure days are flexible. Out of season we can also offer shorter 5 day breaks if preferred. Rental prices include all bedlinen, towels, electric, water and gas. Winter lets include heating. 5 JULY 2008 - Stage final for 'Tour de France' nearby the property. 14 JULY 2008 - Josselin medieval Bastille Day celebrations ending with a firework display at base of the chateau. 24/25/26/31 JULY and 1/2 AUGUST 2008 - Medieval battle reinactment at local manor house - something not to be missed.
