The nearest village of Marval is a few minutes drive away, and has a bar/restaurant, post office, tabac/depot de pain. 7 kms away is the village of St. Mathieu that has a supermarket, 2 bakers, a bar/café plus a number of other shops, including a pharmacy and a doctor.
The towns of Nontron and Piégut are within 15/20 minutes drive, both having supermarkets and shops with markets one day a week, where an abundance of local produce may be bought.
