All rooms have links to free broadband and wifi, as well as plugs for TV and telephones. A decked terrace leads directly to the salt water swimming pool. A fully equipped kitchen is offered for the exclusive use of our clients. An art studio can be used for personal work or for participation in lessons.

Floor Area : 350 m² 1 Lounge Area(s) Description In a corner of the guest living area a sofa and armchairs are placed by the floor to ceiling glass doors overlooking plum orchards, vines, distant hills and swimming pool. The doors give direct access to the terrace and swimming pool. Dining Room The dining area consists of a large table for communal meals and is next to sliding glass doors which lead to seperate tables and chairs on the decked terrace for outdoor eating. Kitchen A fully equipped kitchen is at the disposal of clients wishing to make snacks and drinks. Coffee and tea are freely provided. There is a frig/freezer, electric cooking rings, a microwave and a dishwasher. 4 Bathroom(s) / Toilet(s) Description Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower and WC. One bedroom has an additional bath. A communal WC is next to the living room. 5 Bedroom(s) Description Two bedrooms have large double beds (160 cms) and the rest are twin bedded rooms. Cots and extra child beds are available on request. All bedrooms are en-suite and have their own WC. Beds and bed linen have been chosen with the highest comfort in mind and cotton dressing gowns are left for the guests´ use.

Home Features An art studio is available for guests to use or to participate in lessons which can be arranged during their stay. A computer with free broadband connections is found in the studio, although guests´ own laptops work in all rooms and the house has its own wifi connections. Garden features The house is surrounded by its own 26 hectares of lawn, orchards, and vines. A fishing lake is in the orchard, and a croquet lawn has been created. The large salt water swimming pool is surrounded by a sun terrace, furnished with loungers. Activities nearby The famous Chateau de Vigier golf course is 8kms away, hot air ballooning 10 mins away by car, the great Bordeaux vineyards and chateaux are nearby, as is the town & vineyards of St Emilion (40 kms) Bicycle and canoe hire, pretty bastide towns, rural markets are all a short drive away. Transportation How to get there ? By train to Libourne or St Foy la Grande By plane to Bergerac or Bordeaux. About the Location The scenery is spectacular with gently rolling hills, forests, & fields of sunflowers & vines. The countryside around the house is a haven of peace and tranquillity, where deers and exotic birds are a common sight. Local roads are empty of traffic making car drives & bicycle rides a joy. Nearby restaurants are a gourmet delight and amazing value! Markets and medieval towns for strolling in, or for the more sportive, tennis, golf, canoeing, hiking, are all on hand.
Notes for guests Guests wanting just a one night stop are welcome. Wine tasting and tours of our plum operation and winery can be arranged for those interested, and guests wanting to book a residential art course should contact us. We have a private lake with no permits required for fishing. A croquet set is available for guests to use on the croquet lawn.
Notes on Rates Rooms have large double or twin beds and are 75€ and 65€ per night per room including breakfast. An extra bed in any room will be 20€ per night including breakfast. Children under 5 in cots or the extra beds are free.
