Spacious lounge/diner with log burning stove in a large stone fireplace. Comfortable seating is available for a party of 10. A UK satellite TV system is provided which can acess the free to view channels. A large sofa bed is available for use in the lounge should you wish to increase the sleeping capacity to 10.

A large dining table in the lounge can seat 10.

A modern well equipped kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, microwave, gas oven, washing machine and a second dining table.

The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed and provides a private sitting area. Bedroom 2 has a double and a single bed and the 3rd bedroom contains 2 single beds. In addition a double fouton type bed is also available which could be set up in the master bedroom if you wished to accommodate a larger number. 2 cots can also be provided if requested.

How to get there ?
Ryanair fly from Shannon and Dublin airports to Nantes airport which is a 2 hour drive to La Grange.
Irish Ferries sail from Rosslare to Cherbourg which is 1 1/2 hours to La Grange.

About the Location
La Grange is situated on the edge of the extensive and breathtaking Bay of Mont St Michel. The Mont (the most popular tourist attraction outside of Paris) is well worth a visit and is jusdt 25 minutes by car. The house is situated between St Hilaire Du Harcouet (5 miles further inland) and Ducey. St Hilaire has a busting open air market every Wednesday and numerous bars restaurants, shpos etc. Ducey, 3 miles in the opposite direction wins awards each year for it's floral displays. The nearest well equipped town to the house is Isigny Le Buat, which has all the conveniences and is 1/2 hour on foot through some pleasant woodland roads.
Notes for guests
The stunning medieval cities of Rennes, St Malo, Dinan and 'the Gateway to Britanny' Fougeres are all within 1 to 1.5 hours of La Grange by car, as is the world famous Bayeux Tapestry.
There is a large water sports park for children, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an aquarium, golf, fishing, canooing, cycling horse riding, and hang gliding. The ferries for the Channel Islands leave from the port of St Malo and the crossings to Jersey takes just 1 1/4 hour by Ferry or just 20 minutes by plane from the local airport in Dinard.
Normandy is of course famed for the D Day landings and these beaches are easily accessible. They form only a small of the numerous spacious sandy beachesthat dominate the coast, some reserved for swimming, others for watersports. The nearest sandy beach to the house is 25 minutes by car.
Notes on Rates
Prices start from 400 Euros and include all utilities and unlimited supply of wood. Bed linen can be provided if requested at a cost of 10 euros for a double and 7 euros for a single. You will need to bring your own towels and any cot linen needed.
